Stretchy Fleece Dog Sweater — Warm Pullover

Some dogs tell you it is cold well before the thermometer does.

The shiver at the front door. The way they stop halfway down the block and look back at you. Small dogs lose heat quickly, and a bulky coat only makes it worse, because they cannot move properly in it and end up standing there waiting to be rescued from their own outfit.

This one is knit rather than padded. High-stretch acrylic in a double layer, so the warmth comes from the construction instead of the bulk, and the legs still swing.

• Warm enough for winter walks without turning your dog into a marshmallow
• Stretches on and off without the usual wrestling match
• Goes in the machine when it comes home muddy, bear pattern and all

Made for small breeds, with a bear design across the back. It is a knit, not a shell, so on genuinely wet days you want something waterproof over it.
