He hears you. He has simply decided the other dog is more interesting.
You call once in your normal voice. Then again, louder. By the third time you are the person in the park shouting a name into the wind while your dog stands two hundred feet away with his head down in something.
A whistle carries where a voice does not, and it sounds identical every time, with no frustration in it and no volume creeping up. You pair a distinct pattern with a reward, and over time the pattern becomes the cue.
- Reaches up to 100 meters, across the distance and wind that swallow a shouted name
- Adjustable frequency so you can tune it to your own dog
- Two durable stainless steel whistles with lanyards, so one can live by the door and one in the car
A whistle is a cue, not a correction. It only works paired with reward-based training and consistent patterns, it is not a substitute for teaching the behavior, and it will not resolve barking on its own.
