Waterproof Long-Line Dog Training Leash

The whole point of the field is that they get to run in it.

But recall is not reliable yet, and you are not willing to find that out near a road. So the short leash stays on, the dog gets a walk instead of a run, and the recall never improves because there is never any distance to practice over.
