Hands-Free Dog Walking Belt — Waist Leash with Treat Pouch

The best walks are the ones where you forget you are holding anything.

You want to run with your dog, not be steered by them. But a leash in your fist changes your stride, and every time you reach for a treat mid-step you are fumbling a bag, a lead and a dog who has already moved on from the moment you were trying to reward.

This belt puts the leash at your hip and the treats at your fingertips. The bungee section takes the shock out of a sudden pull, so a squirrel does not jolt your shoulder or your dog's neck.

• Reward the right behaviour the second it happens, without breaking stride
• Lunges get absorbed by the bungee instead of your arm
• A padded, adjustable belt that fits most waists, for running, hiking or slow neighbourhood loops

Especially useful if you are working with a reactive dog and need both hands free. If your dog outweighs you and has not learned to walk on a loose leash yet, stay with a handheld leash until they have.
