A retrieve is only finished when it comes back to your hand.
Your dog will run all day. Marking, holding, delivering to hand: that is the part that takes reps. And the bumpers you have been throwing are either too hard for a young mouth or shredded by the third session.
A duck-style bumper gives them something shaped like the job. Soft enough not to sour a soft mouth, tough enough for daily work.
- Daily marking drills without a bumper falling apart mid-week
- Floats, so water retrieves stay retrieves instead of turning into dives
- Two in the pack, for doubles or for the one that lives in the truck
Built for retriever and gun-dog training. If what you want is an unsupervised chew toy, this is not it.
